Kiwanis Children's Fund Silver Patch Award - 01/12/2018

"The Kiwanis Club of De Pere has achieved Silver-level Today Club status for the 2016–17 Kiwanis year. That means our club’s unrestricted gifts and the unrestricted gifts from our club members to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund reached a per-member giving average of US$25. Congratulations!"

Korina Aghmar, Brown County Health Department - 01/08/2018

Pictured are Korina Aghmar and Gabrielle Albers. Korina is the Brown County Health Dept. Communicable Disease Nurse and Gabrielle is a De Pere Kiwanis Club member. Korina was the speaker at our meeting. Her topic was influenza, what it is, how it's spread, what the symptons are and how to prevent it. This was a very timely and interesting subject.

Exceptional Equestrians - 09/18/2017

Pictured above are Nancy Williquette of Exceptional Equestrians and De Pere Kiwanis President, Larry Lasee. Nancy is the Director of Marketing and Development for Exceptional Equestrians and was the speaker at our dinner meeting. She spoke about the benefits of hippotherapy and therapeutic riding "to help people ages 2 and up improve their cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well being." Exceptional Equestrians is a non-profit organization located in West De Pere. McKenna Collins, Miss Wisconsin 2017 - 08/21/2017

In the picture is McKenna Collins, Miss Wisconsin 2017. She spoke to our club about herself and what it meant to be Miss Wisconsin. She also spoke eloquently and passionately about her platform of "Table Talk:Promoting Civil Discourse." She will also be participating in the Miss America contest this year. 

2017 Legion Baseball Season - 08/21/2017

Pictured above is Coach Kevin Norman. He spoke at our joint meeting with the De Pere Rotary Club about the successful Legion Baseball Season. The Varsity team qualified for the state tournament and went 2-2 before being eliminated.  The WDP U17 team won the State Tournament for U17 teams. Congratulations to both teams for an outstanding season. This was Kevin's seventh season as coach!

Pictured (L-R) are Hannah Spargur, Ashna Bansal and Curtis Carter. Hannah Spargur was recently elected Governor of the Wisconsin Upper - Michigan District of the Key Club organization. Ashna Bansal was elected Lt. Governor. Both Hannah and Ashna are members of the De Pere High School Key Club. Congratulations to both these young ladies. Curtis Carter is the Kiwanis Advisor to the De Pere Key Club.
